Description
The NME-made combined disc mill and huller is a new innovation machine built to serve flour enterprises in producing high-quality flour in both grades 1 and 2. Food insecurity has constantly been on the rise and food prices have doubled in the last three years. In Kenya, the price for both maize and wheat flour has been way too high for the common citizen to afford. The combined disc mill and huller are built to boost food security and can be adopted for both large-scale and small-scale production.
The Maize huller cleans the seeds before they are ground by using high-speed rotating circular stones which are powered by either an engine or an electric motor. The disc mill grinds the seeds using hammers designed to rotate at high speeds and grind the seeds into fine and smooth particles. The texture of the flour can be adjusted by changing the type of sieve. Seeds that are ground in the disc mill without being cleaned by the huller, produce grade 2 flour which is whole grain while once they are cleaned, they produce grade 1 flour. The disc mill can also be powered by either an engine or an electric motor.
The disc mill also plays a great role in the beverage sector as they are used to make wet porridge which can be used to feed children in schools. Place your order and enjoy free delivery and installation across the country and a one-year mechanical warranty.
